Argon Technology in co-operation with Western Australia's Department of Industry & Resources and The University of Western Australia take great pleasure in congratulating Rohan Mathew on his success in winning a 2006 Department of Industry & Resources Studentship Award. The studentship award will see Rohan research with Argon developing an ‘Adaptable Robotics System for Non-Programmers’ to provide an industry best solution to skilled fabricating in a labour shortage environment.
 Award Presentation: Dr. Peter Kovesi (UWA), Dr. Jim Limerick (DoIR), Mr. Rohan Mathew (Recipient), Mr. Paul Deuchar (Argon Technology) The Science and Innovation Studentship Award (SISA) Program has been designed to provide Western Australian research students with the opportunity to apply their skills to business and technical issues. Innovative young professionals are the primary emphasis of the SISA Program, which aims to encourage students to focus on the issues essential to the long-term development and modernisation of the Western Australian economy.
Rohan Mathew was presented the award, by Dr. Jim Limerick, the Director General of DoIR, at a special presentation ceremony held on Thursday 30 November at the Innovation Centre, Technology Park, Bentley. "I have great pleasure in congratulating Rohan Mathew on his success, he is a bright, capable student with a great future ahead of him and we look forward to continuing our support and involvement with the SISA program."
