Argon Technology and ABB have formally strengthened their relationship today with Argon Technology becoming a Certified Partner of ABB's Global Partner Program. The signatories on the deal were completed today in a small ceremony at Argon Technology's head office in Western Australia.

The partnership sees ABB bring their weight and product line behind the sales and support channel Argon Technology offers. This opens the door for ABB to access new markets and provides Argon Technology an enhanced product range. The partnership is committed to developing and supporting the Australian robotics industry.

The robotics industry's global industrial robotic sales is forecast to be 109,000 units* in 2006 with a stable 6.7% growth rate*.
