Another successful year complete! The last 12 months has seen the company pass through the "put yourself to a test" phase, so to speak. Operational systems and practices developed in the preceding 12 month period were put to practice. Coming out the other end of the tunnel Argon has emerged, maintained a vigorous and active growth curve in revenue, profit and enterprise, ready for further challenges ahead.

Professional operation and reporting has seen Argon’s Enterprise Management Systems and ISO9001:2000 accreditations maintained and continually improved. Resourcing issues and the up skilling of green employees was a major development investment over this 12 month period. It has been the long held belief that as an organisation we are only as good as our weakest link and under this approach we have invested heavily to lift the capabilities of our team members. In an environment where resources are scarce our growth to date has not been limited by our ability to attract skills. The organic growth of internal personnel has largely fueled requirements and the attraction of new team members and skills has ensured our access to fresh intellect.

Argon’s market presence, business and product lines have been greatly advanced with our robotics, automation, control systems, laboratory and sampling system markets all being a solid success. Our professional services of engineering consulting, labour hire and resourcing have seen active take up and provide good diversification for our multidisciplinary team. Business lines have continued to see growth with new projects being obtained and a significant increase in new leads generated from a larger geographic region.

Resourcing and acquiring the required equipment and infrastructure to gear up for and deliver on works has come together as it has been required. This has not been a bottleneck to date but some areas here have taken longer that initially anticipated, generating some tension at times but not hindering progress to date. Review of operations to cater for such market dynamics has been carried out to ensure this is understood for future growth requirements.

As a company Argon has once again held strongly to its position of leadership and innovation, pushing projects and boundaries of capabilities, both internally and externally. Delivery of solutions to customers and the investment into demonstrating capabilities through proof of product and service on delivered solutions has seen our levels of respect grown. Community involvement has been maintained through our contributions to institutions and donations to charitable groups, these have been considerable relative to size of operations.

Argon has pushed through this year and emerged a strong and continually developing organisation with exceptional growth and market potential in front of it. It is with great pride I write this concise summary of previous years operations to devote time to further fueling our corporate aspirations as an organisation.

Yours Sincerely, QMS
